Starbucks: The New Generation

So I was passing through Charlotte, southbound on 77, and stumbled upon a very interesting scene when I stopped for my Starbucks break:

Isn't she precious?!!

My little niece making her first trip to Starbucks! Oh, just makes me teary-eyed.

And look at my sister! (her aunt, not her mother) Doesn't she look like the sly red fox inviting the gingerbread man onto his back? Like she's enticing a little innocent girl to taste the forbidden fruit. I can just hear her: "Come along, my sweetie...."

Did you notice Emma had two pocketbooks? That's gotta kill my brother - the miser.

Under her mother's strict restrictions, Emma placed her order and paid for it with her own money. She was so proud. Acckk, who am I fooling? I was so proud! (although I was pushing for the double shot mocha)

I thought mama was pushing the lemonade frap because it was caffeine free, but now I see it was because it matched her outfit. I think Starbucks should snap this picture up for some advertising.

Look there, behind Emma, look a little closer. Do you see what I see? We've seen that particular Starbucks patron before in this previous post.

I told you grandma was the matriarch of the Starbucks gene, it's all her fault. I now have two confirmed "Nana at Starbucks" sightings. Just like Obama, she's learning: you can't fool the public. It's a slow lesson to learn.

And ducking just out of the photo behind Nana is the star of tomorrow's post. Someone who doesn't live in Charlotte.
Someone who's never been blogged before.
Someone who likes to shop.
OK, that's all I'm sayin'.

Lisa asked Emma if she could have a sip of her drink. This was Emma's response.

-
I'm thinking it's a "no."

Surprising, isn't it, that just moments later I found Emma eagerly sharing someone else's beverage.

I have lots more to say about my layover in Charlotte and I have a few surprising guests to make their first-ever blog appearances.
You don't want to miss that.
See ya tomorrow!

Thanks, Aunt Poofie! I love the pics. But, why did you say my daddy is a miser? He took me to moo cow last night for dinner. We had a special date.
