Three's Company

Awhile back, I did a post on twosomes, or BFF's. Everybody needs a bud. Lately, I've been noticing how adding a third person seems to change things a bit. In my day, adding a third person would cause a fight; two would gang up on one. Which is what this first picture might indicate. However, the photos I have recently seen lead me to believe that when a third person is present, silliness ensues.

For instance, What's up with this? Everything about this picture is silly except for the plant in the background. Even the framed picture is a little odd.

& when you see pictures like this, especially a group of three, you have to think about The Three Stooges.

The Three Stooges, Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk, began as an American Vaudeville act in the '20's and survived different venues through the '70's, featuring slapstick comedy, which, ironically, isn't one of my favorite forms of comedy.
Click here if you want to see some video clips of Tom's beloved Stooges.

Speaking of Tom.. here he is in his own Three Stooges photo with Steve H and.... oh, you know him.... Cousin David.

&&& of course, when you are talking about a group of three, you'll also think of "Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil," The three wise monkeys, Mizaru, Kikazaru, & Iwazaru. And I'm so sure when you think of that, you think of these three.
Little miss innocents.

Now this group of three looks like trouble, but are actually participating in a form of volleyball practice that gets the players in the habit of keeping their arms out. Or...at least... that's what they told me.

Check out this cute trio and you'll find a fantastic, beautiful, sweet, & smart future daughter-in-law, a handsome, comic, creative, smart son and a future Harvard, talk-to-the-camera, oh-so-sweet little girl. Trust me, they have been in some silly situations, too.

& then, because I really miss featuring Emma since I ended the Week of Emma posts, I have to include this trio, Emma's family (my brother's family).

And that's all I have to say about that.
