We took Patti & Eva to Boston. Patti toured several law schools, apartments and daycares. She eventually decided not to go to Boston and went to USC School of Law instead.

Tom gave me a big surprise birthday party. Jen completely lied to me, thus keeping the surprise. Tom gave me a beautful diamond ring, got down on his knees and proposed to me again - 24 years after he did it the first time.

I went back to my hometown area in NY/PA and helped my best friend get her daughter married off. Heather & Andrew wed, spent a month or two of glorious wedded bliss in Hawaii and then Andrew was suddenly deployed to Afghanistan.

Marj began her Senior year of volleyball. Watching her in various sports (and band, bwa ha ha ha) throughout high school has been a lot of fun.

America voted in its first black president. A very memorable election. We had lots of fun debate parties, culminating in an election night party, in which one person reluctantly admitted they didn't vote.

Tom completed his MBA and participated in the Hooding Ceremony, broadening my knowledge of academia. Very interesting.

Jen joined us on our ladies trip to Gatlinburg where we experienced some awesome views. It was a very relaxing trip.
I've enjoyed 314 posts in 2008 & discussing the minutiae of life with you each day. I'm getting old. I'm getting tired. 2009 might contain fewer posts while I get away from the computer and slow down a little. I've enjoyed the increasing amount of comments and hope you continue to comment more!
