London II

Well Patti's still across the pond. She begins her third week today.
-
The weekends are tough. There are no classes Fri-Sun each week and so the "kids" go off and play tourist.
-
Here's Patti, defending the castle.
Weekends are not for sissies.
-

This was during her visit to the Tower of London. Henry III spent some time here in the 13th century when the palace was over 200 years old. He did a little remodeling as you might expect. King Henry III was around 5'6", became king at 9 years of age and had a drooping left eyelid. Just so you know.

Get your glasses. Here are a couple more Tower of London photos. That's the Tower Bridge, not the famous London Bridge. Patti said the London Bridge is quite regular looking, not even worthy of a photo.

Patti also went to the Westminster Abbey.

The Royal Courts of Justice.

And Big Ben.
-
She rode horses in Hyde Park and saw the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace. She also went outside London a little to Windsor Palace.

Then Patti showed us what it's like for her to talk to us on Skype. This is what she sees.

PS. That's Barry in the back left.
