Pumpkin Carving Contest

We had our pumpkin carving contest and bonfire the night Carleen went into labor.
-
First, notice B's wings. I always suspected she was an angel and now I have proof.
-
Second, notice Daisy (our dog) is still alive. She's been a great dog for a long, long time. It won't be long before she's gonna keel over. (I still call her a "good little pup" though, it puts a spring in her step everytime.)

Naturally, Punkinhead and Punkinhead Jr. came down for the event.

And Libby downright scared me. She was enjoying this way, way too much.

Where does she get that from??

Marj was very proud of her creature. He looks happy, doesn't he?

When all were done, Jen got an interesting shot.

And we all headed over to the bonfire for smores and hot cocoa, but most of us ended up with ice water, it was so hot!

Here are all the pumpkins, which is your favorite? You be the judge!

#5, of course! Love the assymetrical aspect....or is the correct word unsymmetrical? Either way, very cool.

lol...great fun that night. Little ross was so proud of his pumpkin, he showed all the football players when we picked ross up that night. And Libby is looking forward to next year's ideas. They all turned out so good.
