Washington, DC: Georgetown Cupcakes

Oh my hungry little readers do I have a treat in store for you.  Well, for me actually, but I'll share with you, it'll be a virtual treat for you.

As a part of my on-going quest to find the World's Greatest Cupcakes (WGC)  (kind of like WCW & WWF), I will soon visit.... drum roll please.... Georgetown Cupcake.... home of the famous (but I had never heard of it before) DC Cupcake TV show, which, rumor has it, consists of two annoyingly giggly sisters, a rumor I'll be happy to explore.

This is a cupcake shop so exquisite, answering a question like this is necessary: .....

What is the difference between chocolate2 and chocolate3?
Chocolate³ is a Valrhona chocolate cupcake with a thin layer of rich Callebaut chocolate ganache icing topped with French chocolate sprinkles. Chocolate² is a Valrhona chocolate cupcake with a whipped Callebaut chocolate frosting topped with a fondant flower.
Look!  I can't even pronounce half those words!  This is gonna be good!

So for you, my friend, me and my NASA TweetUp posse will perform a taste test on these sparkling delicious little cupcakes.  We'll be there on a Wednesday, so I'll probably try the Cookies & Creme and the Lemon Berry.  I might have to return Thursday and try the Key Lime and Pumpkin Spice.  In February?  They offer a Strawberry Lava Fudge one!  In December?  Red Mitten Vanilla.  Click here to see all their flavors.  Leave a comment if you want me to try one for you. OR (another one of my brilliant ideas coming!!!) OR if you want me to bring you one back.

Rain or snow, hail or high wind, you can count on me to find the world's greatest cupcake for you, just for you, my friend.  Looking for the perfect cupcake?  Click here for my last Cupcake review with links to the others.

You never heard of them? Man, Val, you need to get out of the office more.

Hope you don't have to wait in line to get your cupcakes and hope they are as yummy as they sound.

Maybe you could take your Peanuts lunch box and fill it up with their goodies.
