For Christmas, our little town has a Hometown Holiday that includes a horse and carriage ride, fireworks, musical performances by just about everyone and small shops that invite you to stop by for cookies and cocoa. Parade, car show, crafts.... we have it all.
But this year? Even the parade host was surprised by one parade entry. "And ladies and gentlemen, now coming through the parade is a lovely, young gir......" {pause} "We have a giraffe in the parade??" {laughter} "We have a giraffe in the parade!!!" {glee}......
