Cheap, Frugal or Smart Shopper

Guest Writer:  Ruth Morse

OK, OK, I know I made a big deal a while back about the distinction between cheap and frugal.  I claimed I was frugal and Jim was cheap.

I think some Jim-cheap-o-ness has rubbed off on me.

It's bad enough that when you buy some brands of spaghetti, they have downsized the box from 16 oz. to 12 oz. TWELVE! That's a huge difference! That's the opposite of cheap.

However, I fixed them.

I found this......
oh so slightly dented but not yet outdated box of Mueller's spaghetti lurking in this strange little display at the back of the store. Sort of a grocery version of scratch and dent sale.

PLEASE! Notice the price!

Take that corporate America!

...and one more thing......
uh, I'll get back to you when I remember it.
