Tune My Heart 2 Sing Thy Grace

For no particular reason, or at least no reason that wasn’t here last week or the week before, etc, my heart is heavy laden today. Funny how some days are like that. I have so much for which to be thankful, I know that. So I am “tuning my heart” with an old hymn by a new singer – Jadon Lavik – “Come Thou Fount.” It’s one of those songs that inspire me to play repeatedly all day long and drive everyone else crazy. Click on my link and you can listen with me. Each time I listen, I catch a different phrase, so it means something new each time I hear it.

Come Thou Fount of every blessing, Tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy never ceasing - Call for songs of loudest praise
Teach me some melodious sonnet Sung by flaming tongues above
Praise the mount I'm fixed upon it - Mount of Thy redeeming love.
O to grace how great a debtor Daily I'm constrained to be

Let Thy goodness like a fetter Bind my wandering heart to Thee
Prone to wander Lord I feel it
Prone to leave the God I love
Here's my heart Lord take and seal it
Seal it for Thy courts above
