Die Hard Football Fans

If she's waiting on a win.... she might be there for awhile.
bless her heart

It's that time of year again and we love it.
What is it about Carolina fans (USC) - year after year we bounce back with the love for our team while year after year we lose? Carolina fans are die hard. We protect our team viciously. Nobody on earth could be more proud of such a losing team. Nobody.
-
But this year's gonna be different. {smile}
-
Our surprising game against Georgia has hinted that we could have an eight win year. {quit laughing} OK, maybe 7 wins?

This is how we watched the Georgia game: Redneck Big Screen TV. And the fun we had making shadow puppets! Whew-weeee. And examining reporters teeth up close and looking up players noses.....
-
Not the first time we made fun of images on TV. Remember Joe Biden's horns?

This was my view of most of the game. I was on the floor so my esteemed guests could have the best seats. This really cute knee blocked part of the game.
-
The Bulldogs barely got their victory 41-37. Maybe if you-know-who (ajiboye) had been there, maybe we'd have won, our defensive team was looking a little anemic. Err. Well, what I could see of it.

The ladies loved Garcia. (OK, so everybody loves Garcia). Out of 53 passes, only one was intercepted and he was frighteningly sacked only once. Errr, not that I was counting or watching him that closely.
-
From a report on Gamecock.Com:
"Redshirt freshman Tori Gurley showed some potential against the Bulldogs. If he could have ever caught and held onto the ball he would have been unstoppable."
Can I say: Ouch.

Besides Garcia, another love of the ladies was my recliner. I think that's why John Tyler was mysteriously absent - he was in his recliner, I guarantee it. With ice cream, too, probably.

The lady in red was the star of the night - we'd been having her surprise birthday party all afternoon, culminating in the football game at night. Happy Birthday Jen! I'll have some birthday photos up in a post soon.
